You can help the system ensure that your ads are displayed to the right customers. useGeography and language settings, You can show your ads to customers in a specified geographic location, or to customers who set your specified language as the interface language.

The location setting allows you to specify the geographic area in which ads can be displayed. For example, if you have an e-commerce store in Zhejiang and you want to target Hangzhou, you can achieve this goal by setting your geographic location.

With language settings, you can place ads on Google products and third-party websites that speak the language your customers speak.

Examples

Suppose you have a company in Mainland China, you target your ads to the entire mainland of China, and set your target language to Simplified Chinese. This means that you can show ads on Google to customers in Mainland China who have set Simplified Chinese as the interface language.

How to choose location and language settings

  1. ClickCampaignlabel.
  2. Click on the left panelAll online campaigns
  3. Click + CampaignButton.
  4. You will then be taken to a page where you can update your campaign settings. Find the section named \"Geography and Language\".
  5. To specify the geographic location, you can choose:
    • Choose a geographic location from the options listed...
    • Or enter a geographic location in the search box.
  6. To edit your target language, click in the \"\"Language\"\" sectionmodify
  7. Check the box next to the language you want to target.
  8. Choose the rest of your campaign settings and clickSave and continue

To set the language for multiple campaigns at the same time:

  1. accesshttps://adwords.google.cnAnd log in to your AdWords account.
  2. Click at the top of the pageCampaignlabel.

  4. Check the box next to the campaign you want to change.
